Italian Weber 48IDA's
Every once in a while, we come by early production Italian Weber 48IDA carburetors that are special, and this is such a set. These are first generation, c.1964, with all the special details intact that came only on the earliest version 48IDA carburetors. These have no "ears" on the sides, all metal parts in silver cad, and they have the correct early drive levers and correct knurled round-head speed screws. Restored tomlook brand new, museum quality. $1500 each, or on a Cobra maniflold, ready-to-run, for $8000 (current production Cobra Weber carburetion systems with Spanish-manufactured carburetors are $5995)
351W 4x48IDA Weber carburetion unit:
This brand new 351W 4x48IDA unit was bolted onto an engine, test-fired and run briefly, but it never saw the road, so it has zero miles on it with about 15 minutes of running time. It’s still virtually brand new but because it had gas in it, we can't sell it as "brand new" and we have to discount it. The price brand new was $5795, and the price now is $4895. It's ready to ship immediately.
