FREE 50-CENT SHOP TOUR

WELCOME TO OUR SHOP...

Most people assume we’re a big shop in a fancy commercial building, but we’re just a tiny shop off the beaten path in rural North Florida.  Occasionally, somebody asks us to tune their car, and if we all hold our stomachs in, we can squeeze a small car into the shop.   We operate out of a small shop at Jim's residence, but we move a lot of product out of here.

Meet the crew...

Dave

Here's Dave, our Head Tech; he’s been with us since we moved to Florida in 2017.   June of 2024 will mark Dave’s seven-year anniversary. Some of you on the Cobra and GT40 forums already know who him as a man who knows just about everything about stack inductions.

He had just finished a fully polished EFI and still had his nitrile gloves on.  We don't handle polished parts with our bare hands, so everything can look as "untouched" as possible.

Vinny

Vinny Jim’s son Vinny has been learning to build EFI’s and Weber carburetion systems for several years, and he’s now at Jim’s old bench. Vinny’s under 30, and the only person here younger than 63.

Dave

Randy handles parts prep for us and packs every induction unit that goes out. Randy does our prep and masking for the paint shop, performs the final check on every assembly before it goes into the box, and carefully packs each unit to make sure it gets where it needs to go without damage.

Marshall is our in-house polisher and is also in charge of inventory control, keeping an eye on inventory levels. He’s a retired commercial airline pilot and captain, and he can regale you with stories of his world travels.

Aurora is the glue that holds the office together. If it wasn’t for her, the office would be a tangle of paperwork and in a state of confusion.

Jim This is the guy who started it all somewhere back in the 70’s. Jim runs back and forth between the shop and the office about 40 times a day keeping tabs on a complicated business with a lot of moving parts.

After the photos above, here are the shop photos:
